Baltimore, MD June 28, 2016- Allovue is pleased to announce a new District Partner, Pueblo District 70 - Pueblo, CO.
Baltimore-based education finance technology (edfintech) company Allovue is adding Pueblo County School District 70 to its rapidly growing roster of school district partners, which already includes notable districts such as Indianapolis Public Schools, New Haven Public Schools, and Santa Ana Unified School District.
District 70 is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Pueblo, CO and serves over 8,000 students with a budget supervised by Superintendent Ed Smith and CFO T.J. Vinci. “We launched just recently in March and within a few weeks had usable data and visualizations. The response from our staff has been incredibly positive,” said Vinci of what excites him about Balance. “When I walk down the halls, all of my site-based and finance staff thank me for launching this partnership with Allovue.”
Allovue’s goal is to help districts make the most informed financial decisions for their schools and their students, and District 70 is no exception. “We are especially excited about our partnership with District 70 and TJ’s team,” said Chief Customer Officer Rosalyn Curato of the launch. “They are a smart and caring group, using Balance to improve their monthly reporting processes ahead of giving principals access.” District 70’s priorities included a user-friendly interface and access to a first-rate customer success team—which Allovue is delighted to deliver. The launch marks not only Allovue’s entry into a new district, but a new state.
The announcement of the launch in District 70 comes on the heels of Allovue debuting Balance 2.0, an improved version of the company’s flagship product, which boasts a streamlined user experience and more tools for district and school leaders to analyze budgets.
Allovue combines the power of financial technology with education data, empowering K-12 administrators to connect spending to student achievement. Their flagship product Balance integrates with existing backend financial data systems to help district officials, principals, and other school administrators to access, analyze, and take action on their budgets and spending.
