The Future of Education Finance Summit is sponsored by Allovue and Reason Foundation. The goal of this one-day event is for education finance professionals and district leaders to network, learn, and discuss the future of education finance.

Benjamin Jealous

Partner, Kapor Capital

Benjamin Todd Jealous is an internationally renowned civil and human rights leader, working at the intersection of technology and social impact. As a partner at Kapor Capital, he invests in seed-stage startup companies that use technology to solve social problems such as making poverty less expensive, high quality education more accessible, and living wage jobs more prevalent. A Rhodes Scholar, Jealous has been named to the 40 under 40 lists of both Forbes and Time magazines.

Between 2008 and 2013, Jealous served as the president and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. Under his leadership, the NAACP experienced its first multi-year membership growth and became the largest civil rights organization online and on mobile devices. Jealous currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Level Playing Field Institute, Rosenberg Foundation, Southern Elections Fund, and Pigeonly.
